In the Cubs Postgame press conference, Jon Lester was asked why he had PLAC on his glove. He stated that his Uncle passed away yesterday and that his Uncle was a Notre Dame graduate. He said it was his way of honoring his Uncle and that it meant "Play Like A Champion", so that's what he wanted to do today. Lester pitched 8 innings giving up 3 hits 2 runs and striking out 10 in a Cubs 3-2 win.
