The investigation was a farce; all the investigator had was opinion and a vendetta. That the NFL thought that it could stand on such a joke of an investigation should be investigated by the NFL owners.

Opinion, is not evidence. Goodell should have never supported that findings.

agreed. the nfl made another large contribution to the ted wells retirement fund.

The ruling was an indictment on the misuse of power by the NFL Commish, not whether Brady was guilty or not. Am I correct or mistaken?

agree, TB was prob. complicit; but there is a thing called prove it!

Because he did not kiss the investigator's butt, the investigator sought to make a case based on opinion and contempt. And the NFL stupidly followed him down that path

Your correct for the most part although the judge ripped into the NFL regarding much of the evidence. Goodell is a boob and he has surronded himself with a bunch of nitwits.

Is it also true that Brady actually performed better in the 2nd half against the Colts after the balls were inflated to league requirements? If true, what the Sam Hill is the league thinking? Did the owners push this because of jealousy? Because of the Pats HC? What gives?

Part of the misuse of power identified by the judge involved denying Brady with equal access to the investigative information used against him.. And the court's ruling recognized that the denial prejudiced Brady's defense. So the unfairness of the process undermined the integrity of the result.

Not sure about the why here. Someone is going to be able to write quite a book about this case years from now when the real story leaks out. There are rumors that Brady would have taken a 1 game suspension recently to make this go away so he could focus on the season ahead. The NFL insisted on him accepting the Wells report. There would have been a better chance of Hoosier Storm posting a cogent thought.
