Ruettiger, the nephew of Rudy, has been a seldom used reserve during his four years in Lincoln, competing in just six official matches (22 total if you include his redshirt year where he wrestled unattached).
Named to the Big-10 All-Academic team in consecutive years (2018, 2019) and likely to make it three out of four this season, even though he has one more year of eligibility remaining, it would sense that as soon as he finishes his undergraduate degree in Management, Ruettiger will leave his shoes in the center of the mat and begin his professional career.
