What a terrible opening month for one of Chicago's storied franchises. The Blackhawks are off to an 0-4 start and now just saw their GM, Stan Bowman, being forced to step down for not forcefully responding to a sexual harassment assault on a 20 years player by an assistant coach 10 years ago. I'm not sure how much worse things can get. Also, Joel Quenneville, the Blackhawks coach during their glory run of recent years, allegedly knew about the assault and will be subject to questioning on the matter. At least issues related to the appropriateness of their Native American name are temporarily on the backburner.
