OT: Art Briles a liar?

Saying he didn't have any previous knowledge of the DE who was just recently found guilty of sexual assault. Chris Peterson the old Boise State coach said he was the one to contact Briles first to tell him about the DE past behavior.

Thoughts? I see no reason why Peterson would make something up because it doesn't seem to benefit him at all.
