How many Coaches do you think are better than Coach Kelly that he has faced since being at Notre Dame. I will name a couple I feel are better in game tacticians or overall better Coaches. There's going to be a lot of negative comments in this thread but try to take my opinion and that of others as just that opinion. I'm not bashing Coach I just think there have been times he was beaten not just the team was outplayed.
1. Todd Graham The guy may not be Man of the Year Candidate but he's got Kelly's number both at Pitt and at ASU. He seems to be a better game planner than Kelly and he's managed to beat Kelly 2-3 times recently.
2. Bobby Petrino I hate this guy but he did more with less than Kelly beating the Irish at home. Again this is an example where even with a Freshman QB a Coach beat Kelly at Notre Dame
3. Jimbo Fisher That game was all Notre Dames but Fisher worked the Refs to get the call he needed at the end of the game. I didn't agree with it but he won the game based on his in-game changes twice over Kelly.
Those are 3 guys that I think have out-coached BK in games. I'm not saying I want them over BK but he's not the best there is at making changes during a game. That was a thing that I believe Lou Holtz was a master of. I'm not trolling just looking to get peoples views on other coaches we faced or will. I don't think Kelly faces anyone this year who is going to out-coach him but I believe that the Coaches listed above have done just that.
