OL Prescod is Irish

Solid but not great pick up at a position of need. Left Tackles studs are needed which is why GL is so important to sign as well

Tackles are always needed. You have two potential left tackles already... Fisher and jagusah. Yeah you need to stack tackles, but this guys is rated above where Jarrett Patterson was... a lot more than "solid"

Like I said, solid. Fisher will be gone. Jag is great but a true freshman just coming off rehab.
If ND is going to beat the big boys, they need stud left tackles, not good ones.

The best OT in college football wasn’t a stud recruit and 3 stars. Do you know this guy is just good?
Don't understand your question entirely but we get an idea of the kid's potential/impact based on his prospect ranking. He's ranked just inside the top 300 (4 star) at a position ND has used in recent history to bridge the talent gap with the modern power programs (high 4 star and 5 star talent).

ND is recruiting a TON of low 4 star talent this cycle. For that matter, they are recruiting a TON of lower rated players across the board this class. I REALLY hope Marcus Freeman has some new scheme he's working on with Parker, because we are going to need a gadget offense to beat anybody at the high P5 level with a pulse in a few years if things don't change fast in regards to NDs talent procurement.

Based on your talent procurement , we would have passed on Alt.

Based on your shit, we should have passed on Alt?
Joe was a lowly 3 star, perhaps there is evaluation outside the recruiting services, ya know coaches? What the hell was Saban thinking offering this kid ranked so low, must be Tommy. I can’t believe ND offered Hamilton when he was a 3 star but thank god he was validated later by rivals, would have been a flop

Tell me more about the 5 star talent ND has recruited on the OnLine in the last 6 years? Blake Fisher is the only one since Tommy Kraemer in 2016…

Yawn

Probably between 4-7
I wouldn't say so, unless we finish with nothing but top 100 guys.

But it doesn't matter to me, I'm not dissatisfied in the slightest. Only thing I want is for MF to keep recruiting nothing but good program fits, and presumably we are, so we can have the same strong team spirit, morale, all that shit, that we enjoyed in BK's last four/five seasons. That's the key to victory for a program like ND.

And this kid does have a Bama offer as I said. So that's a feather in the cap....

I don't think its a guarantee at all Fisher is gone. If he has a great year..sure he is gone. But with his body transformation it leaves more questions than answers. If healthy he will have only two seasons of starting. With Alt gone he could possibly slide to the left side to improve his stock / show his versatility and gain one more year of experience / strength / reshaping of his body. If the NIL money is decent it will take some of the financial pressure off going pro especially if he thinks he can move from say 2nd or 3rd round to top half of 1st round with one more year. It worked for McGlinchey

Lol this class will end up somewhere in the 15-20th range.

Notre Dame recruits its best players before the season starts and then they just focus on football during the regular season (their recruiting comes to a screeching halt)

The rarest most elite prospects sign closer to signing Day at the end of the cycle and they sign with our competitors thus Notre Dame's ranking slips hard over the course of the recruiting cycle.

In this class our *only* 2 playoff-caliber-recruits are already signed and one of them is wavering if we don't end up with Carr"s signature we'll probably finish closer to a 20th ranked class than 15th

In other words this class is a complete and utter failure in relation to Notre Dame's national championship outlook

But don't worry we have a tenured head coach with a track record for maximizing the development of his players 😂

He may stay. Regardless stud left tackles are still needed

I really liked the kid Aidan Lynch and we didn't offer him.

I would love to find out what Coach didn't like about him.

I didn't see that at all and I guess Georgia didn't either because they offered him.

Heistand didnt offer and hes the best in the business. Rudolph didnt offer either.

Georgia and Bama "offer" a lot of guys, most arent committable.

Hes ranked 716th in the country. 61st OT

Watch more film I guess

Talk to me in 3 years

All the great HS players in Indiana meet every other Monday in a phone booth.

As to Coach Heistand being the best in the biz------stop. He's a good OL guy----there's a bunch of them.
