offensive line

I wrote about this earlier this week. ND's battling 3 sprained ankles on their offensive line and they're not getting the push they need. With that said, the play calling was the worst we've seen it this year. They ran the ball all night all night into loaded boxes on first down and were forced into passing situations on 3rd down when Wake Forest was able to drop 7 and 8 and roll coverage over the top of Fuller... Hated the game plan today. The Irish won on talent advantage alone today. All ND needed to do was run their spread sets on first down and pass the ball vs the loaded box and come back to the run on 2nd and 3rd down.

Oh well, they still won and hopefully a lot will be learned from this.

Agreed, I felt like Kelly was distracted after a great game plan last week. And Josh ran out of gas... Still we just won two games without our weapon at RB... I'm worried that there is a breaking point with all of these injuries...

Nice to hear from you IIO -- how did you season go?

Glad you're here IIO.

We'll need the OL to dominate vs. Stanford. Does it make any sense to rest 1 or 2 of those guys vs BC. I don't want to take BC lightly, but one has to figure that we're gonna win that game. Need the OL to be healthy and running on all cylinders, or else winning in Palo Alto is gonna be really really tough.

It looked like same game plan from the Clemson game in the first half. They played the game like it was a bad practice especially on offense.
