*** Here are my keys to success for the Irish!!;

1. Get a pass rush on Darnold.
2. Get the running game going with Adams and Dexter and Wimbush !!
3. Put Chase Claypool back on Kick coverage !! We suck without him out there and USC has speed on kickoff returns !!
4. Time to bring out our "Secret Weapon" Kevin Stepherson for a long bomb to start the game !!
5. Wimbush needs to keep doing what he is good at--running for first downs and Touchdowns but the coaching staff has to get him started with safe passes like against Michigan State to keep the USC defense honest.
6. No turnovers on offense and create turnovers on defense.
7. Stuff the run on defense.
8. Rotate players to keep everyone fresh as we wear USC down .

*** Basically do the same things you have been doing all year. Irish !!

*** What do you Under the Domers think are the keys to the game to win (besides scoring more than USC) ?????!!!!

Bodi, you covered every important aspect. At the end of the day, we need to run the ball well and often. USC is thin on the DL, and we need to control this line, and control the time of possession with time eating long drives that result in td’s. On the flip side, we need to put a lot of pressure on Darnold and more importantly, keep their two speedy runners in check.
In my sports world, it doesn’t get any better than ND vs USC when both are ranked and fighting for a playoff invite.

Penn State beat Georgia State, Akron, and Indiana and should have lost to Iowa. They are now playing Michigan, Ohio State and Michigan State right in a row. From # 2 to unranked in 3 weeks? Hope they enjoy gameday. I am glad game day is not at South Bend. ESPN is full of America hating swamp dwellers.

Ronald Jones is an extremely fast running back.. The most dangerous player on the USC offense IMO. The Irish need to shut him down.

I wouldn't hold my breath on ESPN for anything unless ND loses. Over the last three weekends ND played; it wasn't mentioned on ESPN.com. They did use one or two sentences on ND entering and moving up in the AP Poll. We'll see moving forward.

While I agree and think ND will run the ball and run often, BW is going to come out throwing bombs Al Davis style. Just to keep them honest. My guess is the country meets BW this weekend and learns he does indeed, have an arm.
