Jacksonville (Fla.) First Coast wide receiver Kevin Stepherson camped at Auburn with his high school team on Thursday. Stepherson was quoted by AuburnSports.com saying that he plans to take an official visit to The Plains at some point during the recruiting process.
He explained on Saturday, that's not the case.
"No sir, I'm just visiting Notre Dame," he said in a message when asked about the report of the official visit. "I'm not flipping, no way."
It should be noted that First Coast – like most top high school programs in Florida – is very proactive when it comes to getting its athletes exposure. In the offseason the school frequents many college campuses around the South and Stepherson said he was along for the ride.
