Blue & Gold Illustrated has learned that Laurens (S.C.) District 55 three-star safety Thomas Jones is back on campus. Jones was in South Bend on Tuesday for an unofficial visit but has returned.
We're told that the first part of the visit was "real good" – which is normally the case with unofficials – but still always good to hear.
The 6-3, 190-pound Jones was offered by Notre Dame back in June. He also holds offers from North Carolina, South Carolina, Wake Forest and Vanderbilt.
