not that it matters, but with JS backing Kelly I think the team stabilizes and Kelly regains his mojo. I think we start winning again on Saturday. With wins against Miami, USC and Navy, the team will have momentum heading into the bowl game. We will be matched up with a terrible opponent and should win heading into the offseason. Spirits will be high for an 8 or 9 win 2017.

Also, I really have no doubts that this team can win out or lose out. I think they are the best worst team in the nation. They play to they're competition every week and choose to lose. We could easily be 6-1 or 7-0. With the addition of one more great player or leader we'd probably be undefeated. Just add Jaylon Smith and that's most likely the case. Someone on this team needs to emerge as a leader that can play 4 quarters of football. If that happens, guys will feed off it and play to the end and win games. The staff needs to recruit leaders in the future as this team is sorely lacking them. If I'm BK I consider making a freshman a captain and moving this team towards a new goal. I like the idea of a new start. Tell the boys the preseason is over and the record is 0. Get them to buy in and go bat shit crazy. Play cruel. Play smart. Play to win no matter what.

The 8 or 9 win was exactly my point. I think we need better, but I think it is what it is.

All it takes is 1 leader that exudes toughness to change a team culture. It's lacking severely. We will not win out and until those leaders emerge it's on BK leadership skills and that is lacking severely.

I know what your saying, and after this year, 9 wins would be great if that were to be the beginning of an even better year in 18, but.................ya know.
