NCS ,after watching the dominance of the Irish running game against USC , will certainly have a game plan to stop or contain Adams and Wimbush . Can Nelson ,McGlinchey and the rest of the offensive line dpminate the strong defensive front four of NCS. ?How will Kelly counter ? He sure is aware . Last year, Kelly sometimes stayed with the run game too long .

What I am scared of is if we can pass when we have to.... passing is a lot easier when you are ripping carries for 6+ yards a pop..... Wimbush played great last week, but lets admit it, he missed several passes as well (2nd play of the game if I remember correctly).

I belive NCST dline is better than Georgia's, but Georgia's LB's and secondary were much better. ND will have to have a balanced attack to be successful.

UGA spied BW and loaded the box. ND's WR corps is much better now and BW is passing better. I do not see the 'Georgia' approach working for NCST.

I agree, we also have now another end to Brown in Stepherson so you cannot just leave them both in man or they will get burned. Or passing game is better, and I think if BW can get the ball to his recovers i think it will be very difficult for them to cover all aspects.

Huh? Kelly has stayed with the run game too long in the past? I’m pretty sure when he was calling the shots he wouldn’t stop passing the ball in a hurricane.

Should be a hell of a game, it's such an intriguing matchup because you have strength on strength (Irish run game v. our run D) and weakness v. weakness (Irish pass game v. our secondary).

I'll add though, that we did just get two starters back in the secondary the week prior, that we have been missing/did not play in the game against the Gamecocks.

Good luck to you guys, hope both teams stay healthy, cant wait.

Go Pack!

I wouldn't exactly say passing is a weakness, and it has been getting better each week. Especially since we got our other star receiver back in Stepherson. But as stated, we will need a balanced attack tomorrow and no turnovers.

Don't worry, his passing will get better.

I heard Wimbush is so scared of the Pack's D Line he has to sleep on Coach Kelly's couch tonight. Really puts things in perspective. Just a bunch of kids out there.

Good news is Kelly lend him his teddy bear.

38 drop backs to be exact.

After that game last year, I was hoping they were going to pull a USC-Lane Kiffin move and leave Kelly behind. While I'm not the kind of poster who will call him out on every single play that doesn't work, I still think that performance at NCST was a fireable offense. And maybe they would have, if they didn't have so much money tied up in him.
