North Carolina outrushed Miami 176 to 59. also USC looked great tonight.

Forget about Miami. Virginia Tech is probably going to smoke them next week. North Carolina almost beat Miami and outgained them on the ground 176 yards to 59. The Irish will probably rush for over 400 yards on the Canes. I can't wait.
Wake Forest will be a tougher game but the Irish will still win by about 30.
Miami still will be considered a good win by the Irish as they have a good record and we will play them on the road.

*** USC looked awesome tonight whipping Arizona State 48 to 17. Ronald Jones rushed for over 200 yards and Darnold threw for 3 tds.
The defense got a lot of sacks and really gave up only 10 points as Arizona State
scored on a questionable hail mary before the half.

*** USC could easily end up a top ten team and Pac 12 champs at the end of the year with all the talent they have.
Our 49 to 14 win over them is the biggest statement win in college football this year

The one thing I'll say about Wake Forest is that they are excellent in the screen game. Wolford has proven to be highly accurate on those passes and they block it well. That's of significance because ND has struggled at times this year to defend the WR screen game. They'll have to put a lot of practice into it this week.

Bodi, good analysis. USC plays a changed Arizona this Saturday since Arizona Kalil Tate has become the starting QB. This Guy is dynamic. He is making Rich Rod look like a genius. So I suspect the game will be much closer than the ASU game.

My biggest fear after last week's defeat was that USC would just collapse down the stretch. Glad to see they won big.

Disappointed, but not that surprised, by Michigan State losing to Northwestern.

Rich Rod's approach historically seems to me I only need to stop your offense one more time than you stop mine. So if both teams score 50 it would not surprise me.

I thought the Irish were great against the screens? With Tevon and Drue busting them up. Will this news hurt Wake on there WR screen game?

Brutal news for Wake Forest: Greg Dortch out for the year w/ an abdominal injury. Potential All-ACC WR had 53 catches for 722 yards + 9 TDs.

How about this? USC/Stanford for the PAC 12 title--NC St/Miami for the ACC title and MI St wins the BIG 10. That would leave AL, GA, ND and the BIG 12 winner. Guarantee they would match ND with AL.
