We have 12 players who get an extra year of eligibilty due to injury most noteability is Zaire, Folston, Tranquill, jones and crawford who just might be the best cb on the field. Parker Boudreaux the might be the biggest sleeper recruit of the class with 71 offers. Who gets 71 offers

and our irish might be getting a huge steal in recruiting today with the signing of SC CB pride who has elite speed and can be a lockdown corner for our irish. him and Crawford will give our irish two corners with elite speed to be lockdown corners going into august. coach Kelly and staff are doing a great job of bringing lots of speed that our irish lacked during the Charlie weis ara or even the TW ara

^ not a good sign when on this day you are already searching for the "huge steal"

the big finish hype created by the sites mods was a letdown but we should have known better by now; they seem to do it every recruiting session and inspite of past duppings we rush to buy in.

Now we can focus on the '17 class! Word is that ND is setting up for a Top 5 class! :D:rolleyes:o_O

If you don't like recruiting services and the way they operate why do you talk so much about recruiting?

Look, these are 17 yr old kids, and the elite get concentrated attention building to NSD akin to a rock star. Some love the drama and foster speculation; some fall in love with the last visitor; some have a difficult time saying no; and some are truly torn. The recruiting services reports reflect all of the above and more, and I appreciate the access to info, and enjoy the NSD excitement. Just reading the recruiting services assessments of each of our signees anew reinforces the fact this is a very strong class, geared to our greatest areas of needs; and putting up with their hype in exchange for the info provided is a small price to pay.

the class is a very good class but the fact is the level is not to compete in the top 10.
ND is recruiting in the National 11-25 level.
Is that satisfactory to fans?

(A DRob commit will not change things. ND has firepower to score 35 ppg now; defense is the problem)

Perse, I disagree. This talent is the level of talent needed to compete as a top ten program nationally. Our defense should be much improved with the quality of DB's we are bringing in, and the quality of linebackers we brought in last year. I even think we have significantly improved our potential at DE with this year's signees. Interior DL needs some added talent, and hopefully this will be addressed next year. All in all, a very good class and our roster is clearly capable of competing as a top ten team nationally, not the 11-25 you suggest.

Purse 28k said Tillery Rochell and J Jones would not start on the #6 team in the country but would start on the # 7 team in the country ....interesting considering that if Jones had played all yr he would have joined Rochell and Tillery on a defense and team that was 4 pts and two plays away from being ranked #1 in the country on Jan 1st

tex you are discussing football with the biggest dick I have ever encountered re sports in my lifetime .

so, why hasn't it?

and now no Jaylon or TE'O

stop and think. Just from football perspectives, there are mostly nice kids but not particularly 'football gifted' front seven projects on and coming to the roster. Do you just look at ND or do you actually analyze the competition?

AND

have you compared the count of elites (5.9 and > 6.0) in this class compared to ND prior years?

but if you prefer, just shoot from the hip! as is custom here.

If Hayes gets moved to DE like many think- gives ND one 5 star and two 4 stars at DE.. Big haul at DE. As mentioned, last years LB haul was consensus top 5, interior DL guys should be the focus in 2017. Cage, Tillery, Jay Hayes, Jones, Bonner, Taylor, Treadway, Tiassum continue to develop for the next 2-3 years until these guys are ready.

says "experts" like yourself ? hah ! why play the games then ? just award the NC trophy in february. cancel the season. nd has no chance. it's over.

Daelyn Hayes can fit that mold of Teo, Jaylon. Lemming thinks he has the same gifts/tools as Jaylon.. And he knows more than you do. It is not a fact by any stretch that this class cannot compete in the top 10.. That's your weak opinion.

He is definitely an expert. Expertly obnoxious and full of crapola.
