Laurens (S.C.) District 55 three-star safety Thomas Jones says Notre Dame has offered him a scholarship.
Jones, who also holds offers from Duke, North Carolina, Louisville, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest, said Irish assistant coach Autry Denson let him know he had an offer.
"It's a blessing," Jones said. "Just thankful for receiving a offer from a legendary school."
The 6-3, 190-pound Jones was named by Rivals.com as a possible breakout prospect back in April. He said that a summer visit to South Bend is likely.
