kid is an ATH that I've wanted to a long time. he is a very versatile kid that can play on offense or on defense in the backfield. kid has been blowing up recently and having a lot of big time schools offering him now or on the verge of offering him. didn't expect him to verbal now with the way he is blowing up. trust me when I say our irish got a big get in this kid

yea, this kid has been on lottsa list that posters guess at commits. I spend more time looking at DL/LB/WR, so he is kinda unknown to me, but his rating is .90; very good.

(guessing CB (corner back) here)

well he really has been blowing up big time recently like I sais above. I love how Kelly and staff are going out and getting a lot of kids that are just sheer athletes that can play multiple positions. vinny cerrato brought in kids like that for holtz and staff and it worked out great for our irish in the late eighties and early nineties

TCU seems to load up on great athlete's - formula seems to work well for them.

Big get for the Irish!! Very good athlete out of Texas. Keep hitting Texas and Fla. If you land a couple more solid DBs to go along with the talent and depth that came in this year, then we should be looking at an outstanding secondary in the near future.

Now its time to get some Defensive Lineman! The defensive line is the only spot I don't feel super comfortable with. LB's have been solid the last 3 yrs. DB's are pretty good. No need to discuss the recruiting on the offensive side of the ball.

I don't know about recent kids these days Mac034 but a few years back I was listening to mike frank's power hour I believe and they were saying on the show that our irish had a hard time getting elite top ten d-line guys like NTs for instance because a lot of them just didn't have the grades to get into notre dame

That makes sense. We have some solid lineman in the program right now. Just need 1 or 2 more studs to compete with the OSU's and bama's out there. Young Mustipher will hopefully help. Though he won't be here for a couple of years.

let it go, anyone with a desire to see the vid can type the name and 'hudl'

If one person takes the extra few seconds to do it, it will save the likely several hundred people who will see the thread the time of having to do it.

That's 100% correct. As far as position groups go, DL is the weakest academically. Check out how many JUCO DLs there are on many top 25 rosters.

^ JMO: I think it is even more true if you limit the sample size to the top 25 rather than 'all' DL prospects And even more so if you do just DT's.
