New Coaches Poll

ND is 19 and MSU, Navy, and Stanford all crack the top 25.

That makes it 7 ranked opponents on our schedule! WF also has other receiving votes and are looking solid. An 11-1 ND team with this gauntlet of a schedule deserves to be in the playoffs.

#16 in AP. ND should make leaps up the ranks when they start winning against ranked teams.

They should do away with the coaches poll. It’s meaningless in terms of the playoffs, etc... as it’s not part of the calculation, and it’s evolved into a self serving vehicle for coaches to promote their team or teams in their conference.

I found it 'bias' that a team with ZERO wins was still in the Coaches Poll four weeks into the season. Probably a first and, hopefully, a last.
