Pathetic game preparation by ND. Just pathetic. Not sure how fans can accept this bs

Urban! Urban! Urban! Beamer is a real coach and Freeman has no chance. Freeman and Brent Veneables should hang out together at the losers lounge and bring Swarbick along.

You guys are premature with negative conclusions, as there is an entire game to play. Let's see.

That being said, look, I at this point don't see an issue with coaching...aside from Rees stubbornly not using Estime.

What I see is that ND simply doesn't have players as good as the Gamecocks. Especially at QB. Kinda been the theme all season...and a greater context about being able to recruit in depth, something I expect us to discuss later.

Take the 2nd half of the Fiesta Bowl last year and this 1st half so far, and you can see how far over his head this coach is. It is not his fault, it is the fault of Swarbrick, who allowed himself to be pressured by the players, media idiots and social media morons into hiring a Head Coach with no experience.

It did not work for Faust, it did not work for Davie, it did not work for Weis, but this was going to be different right? smh

Urban Meyer you serious? That guy is a flake. Did you see how his NFL stint went? He’ll come and quit after a year or two due to stress issues.

Notre Dame supposedly recruits smart athletes, but they seem to be absolutely overmatched on the football field. They seem to hesitant, so confused. It's just mind-boggling.

Key word …supposedly!

We've beat this dead horse many times.

Smart student-athletes don't play sports better than semipro athletes who put academics 2nd and get accommodation for that.

Also, the latter are not dumber either...just prepared to commit more time to sports to get to the highest level. Top athletes who are strong academically actually might have to be much more intelligent naturally...as time in football vs study is a zero sum game.

Beamer a real coach all of a sudden? Lmfao

Just cost his team a FG at end of that half

I don't buy that at all. The kids ND are recruiting have been playing football at the highest level since they were pee-wees. The whole ND football culture depends on guys who have four years of eligibility being able to commit five years to football.

I'm going by what I've experienced, my eye test, and the numbers.

I've spoken before about soccer, which I REALLY am familiar with.

College kids don't stand a chance vs the athletes who forgo college for semipro academies. Just a chasm of difference psychologically, more so as the latter start to out-skill them.

Again, time spent in practice is a zero sum game vs time spent in study. Naturally. You have to be pretty gifted academically to sacrifice study for football and maintain decent grades.

I live the Bay Area and read a lot about Andrew Luck. He had an engineering major at Stanford and had 3.4+ GPA. Professors were quoted as jokingly saying: this guys is different, he's legitimately highest academic caliber...betraying he was the outlier in being a top football player and academic.

ND getting ass whipped up front yet again. ND is not even a top 20 program
You are really funny!
Why are you even on this site, all you do is bitch and moan about how bad ND is. If you really think they are this bad, go somewhere else.
45 points, 264 Yards Rushing, 294 Yards Passing.
Yep, getting whipped up front, you have no fricking clue...ND rushed for over 200 yards in second half!

SO HOW WAS IT THAT THE GREAT BEAMER WAS OUTSCORED 38-14 THE LAST 3 QUARTERS? PLEASE SHARE

No correlation between Faust and Freeman.
