Discussion on ND Reshirting?
Given the ND 4 year edict to graduate and quality athletes moving on, would it be better for our athletic programs not to redshirt these players? It appears they don't stick around for their fifth year so why do we redshirt? Understand redshirting walk-ones or average player development, but the athletes that could play as Frsh or project out to go pro after 3 years, is there a benefit to ND redshirting these players and them leaving?
