Especially at the beginning of the game, it seemed ND receivers were not able to get any separation. Sam was getting enough time, but frequently it seemed his main targets were locked up and he was forced to go to the second or third option or the dump off. Were the cornerbacks playing that well? ND's two "tall" receivers, Colzie and Merriweather, pretty much disappeared yesterday?
