There were 1,041 homicides and manslaughters in the state of Florida in 2015 (2016's stats aren't fully available). 99% of them probably didn't involve Muslims... Put down the tinfoil hat my man. This is no more a national story than any of those other 1000.

Because that seems to be from the NY Times, which (eye roll) seems to be what people think of as the "liberal media".

I think what the other posters are getting at is this story gets put on page 12 below the fold, and then you don't hear about it the next day. That's in contract to other stories which get brought up almost daily and are analyzed to the point of absurdity.
I don't recall hearing much about the other 1,400 on this board. Trayvon Martin aside, people on this board haven't talked much about homicide in Florida here. I bet story has received more press on this board than the other 1,400 combined.

That was one weird household of 4 guys. No discussion on how the 18 year old Arthur went from neo-nazi to Islam in apparently a short time. Sounds like he just liked extreme ideologies with the promise of violence. The trip to Key Largo by his surviving bomb making roommate intrigues me. What was that about? I bet the FBI used him as bait to get more info.
