Walton may be an annoying announcer & may have been fragile, but he was no stiff. He was one of the better centers to play the game and had it not been for his fragility, he would've had gone down as one of the best. Some still think he was even w/ his chronic foot injuries.

Walton is stock raving mad. He is constantly putting over UCLA and John Wooden, even when he is calling games that have nothing to do with UCLA. But he is still less annoying then Dick Vitale or Len Elmore.
