4-8 man... and I’ve always liked Kelly the administrator even if his coaching decisions left all of us wondering. He speaks well and represents the program well in press conferences. He’s even learned to be less reactionary on the field, which I love. Support your players when they make early mistakes instead of barking at them and risking them going into a shell.

Anyway.... we’re watching meaningful football this November so I for one am very happy that I didn’t get my way and he kept his job.

Exactly - anyone who’s not willing to give credit due where it has been earned is just hating for the sake of hating. Every Irish fan should be ecstatic over the program right now. Playoffs or no Playoffs, the team is unified and playing great football. But let’s get to the Playoffs and kick some a$$!!!

I ask for Lord Kelly's forgiveness. I gave angry rants on Kelly after the Georgia loss. He is doing one Heluva job---including recruiting Great players !

Granted, I am pleasantly surprised ND is playing the way they are playing now and didn't clearly see them as a team of destiny this year. However, I did see a tough, physical ND team lose to a tough, physical UGA team and ND was in the driver's seat the entire game.

Hey,,,I will admit I was wrong about this season so I repent.

As fans it is hard to forget the past such as last years debacle, how he has handled himself (blaming others, throwing players under the bus), his poor decisions (going for 2 up by 11, throwing the ball in a hurricane) and his penchant for losing to inferior opponents (hardly ever winning big games too until now).

It seems like he has changed not only his demeanor, but also has hired good coaches and is actually delegating. If he keeps this up, I am all in.We still have this season to play out but you have to give Kelly credit. Most coaches can't change thier approach..but he did.

I go back to my encounter last Winter at an ATT store in Naples. Met a guy in collar ND shirt Turns out he is an alum insider and he told me THEN bK was a good coach n would turn it around n he was going to hire a strength guy n new coaches.

They are going to set them up to play each other again in the playoffs.

I believe 7 pts was the biggest lead either team had in that game, so nobody was ever in the drivers seat.
