As was discussed earlier this week, Mike Singer is in Phoenix for the first time this weekend visiting ND recruits (Ben Morrison) and prospects (Anthony Lucas, etc.). I had the great privilege of having dinner with him last night at Tee Pee, a Phoenix institution since 1958 with great Mexican food. Mike had a rather full plate at the beginning of our meal, but based on the smile on his face and empty plate at the end I think he rather enjoyed. I am a 1990 ND grad and was joined by one of my classmates. So in the spirit of Lou, we talked about all eras of ND football - Paul Hornung, Ara Parseghian, Dan Devine, Joe Montana, Lou Holtz, Chris Zorich, Tony Rice and current day. Mike Singer is a gentleman and scholar and we are very fortunate to have someone with his passion and knowledge to provide us with such great insights. God bless Mike and enjoy the weekend!
