Both struggling and if both win how do they justify Michigan in FSU out? Iowa D better than Louisville but the gap isn’t as great as the gap between offenses . Iowa is pathetic on O.

Michigan shouldn’t have been in last year. The committee can’t figure out who the best teams are so they go with best record. Both mich and fsu get in and neither beats ga or ala. This FSU/ Louisville game is one of the worst football games I’ve ever watched

Bama
Georgia
Texas
Washington

Those are the best 4 teams.

No they’re ELITE *per Chase. Everybody wants to discount the regular season and crown who looks the best but Michigan literally had 11 easy games and OSU wasn’t great (hell ND should have beat them). How can you gauge a team when they whoop up on Rutgers, Iowa, Indiana, Northwestern.

Texas has to be in, they beat the SEC Champ on their home turf

Schedule should matter a lot but Michigan figured it out—- it doesn’t mean sht so play as weak a schedule as possible and hope for the best against OSU. I want Bama in because I think they have a much better chance of beating Michigan then FSU

$EC should not get 2 in, conference was down. Question is, should they get 1 in? Which they will, it’s about the almighty dollar. If you put 1 in, it’s Bama- if Bama is in so is Texas. Think FSU gets left out, the Jordan Travis situation gives the committee an out.

You can make arguments for both FSU and Bama for the final slot. Georgia is out. Their best win is Mizzou, who is about as good as Penn State. It will be Michigan, Washington, Texas and one other.

Some fan base will be exceedingly salty tomorrow.

I didn’t pick up on this till about early November but Michigan has serious issues on the oline. They can’t run the ball.

I think Texas wins it all

one thing is certain, FSU is t one of the 7 best teams.

They lose to UM, UW, UGA, UT, Bama, OSU, Oregon, and probably Ole Miss.

This is why I've never liked the four-team playoff format. I don't think there has been a single year where at least one or two deserving teams were left out: I think Washington, Michigan, Texas, Alabama, Georgia, and FSU all have legitimate cases.

It's a pity FSU lost their QB because if they do make the playoff, they'll probably be shut out by whoever they face. Earlier this season, I thought Michigan had as any chance as any team to win, but I have a hard time seeing them beat either Georgia or Alabama. And I honestly don't know what to think of either Washington or Texas because I haven't watched much of them, but they just keep winning.

This is the only year I think other teams have a gripe. Usually it is very clear and most times there isn't even 4 teams deserving

Doesn’t matter. They deserve to go get blown out. Earned it by going 13-0.

It’s funny. ND goes 12-0 plays no title game and everyone here would be singing a different tune.

I would agree there have often been fewer than four teams that had a snowball's chance in hell of winning the national championship, but I'd argue all day that it is tough to pick the top four every year, even if teams 3 and 4 are playing for third place.
