Michael Stonebreaker was worth the price of admission.

He played like a maniac and absolutely the very best name for a linebacker.

He represented the last golden era of ND football.

Playing the toughest of schedules...welcoming the toughest matchups and winning.

Part of the very greatest CFB game ever played.
Catholics vs. Convicts game.

I'm pretty certain that game had more starters that spent time in the NFL on both sides of the ball than any other matchup in CFB.
Obviously not every player started or had a long NFL career but the only player who didn't spend one minute in the NFL was Tony Rice. Possibly the best player on the field that day.
