The Citidal vs Clemson . What a joke. In order to get in the play off teams should be required to have at least 10 wins against D1 teams. End the the gimme games jmho.

It’s a complete joke. Personally I don’t believe a game against a 1AA team should count at all. They punish Wisconsin for a week schedule, but will let Alabama and Clemson slide without comment.

UTEP is the worst D1 team this season. 0-10 bad. Would it be OK if Bama and Clemson scheduled a UTEP or an equally bad FBS Coastal Carolina? Between the two, there is one win. That would fulfill Bama's and Clemson's requirement of only FBS programs on their schedule.

When a D1 team schedules a 1AA team they know it's a gimme. When they schedule a UTEP there is at least a chance they may put up a fight. The SEC is notorious for this kind of scheduling not to mention all the other games they play to get one up on schools following the rules. The SEC's unofficial motto is " if you ain't cheating you ain't trying".

They always schedule these BS games late in the season also, like a late season scrimmage, ... assure they stay healthy. Just complete BS. To date, Alabama has zero resume for their current ranking, zero. It’s just a complete farce. As far as my school, just focus on winning each game. 11 - 2 would be a great season.

Mercer has held Bama to 35 1st half points. This game is still up for grabs if Mercer regroups, makes a few halftime tweeks/adjustments. This is getting very exciting!

I heard the announcer on the Michigan-Wisconsin game really giving Alabama, Clemson and Auburn a hard time for scheduling scrimmages in November. He correctly pointed out that if you are a team playing a bonafide schedule you might get a major injury and then lose a game you ordinarily would win.

It was a bit ironic, though, given Wisconsin's shedule this season.
