Irish were up 5-3 with just seconds left before end of first quarter ... won face-off and #20 Drew Schnoz recovered ball and shot from midfield just as the horn was going off and SCORED!

ND lost

ND's vaunted defense which had been giving up 6.6 goals per GAME ... gave up 8 in the 4th quarter alone in a 17-15 loss to unc.

Hope the team recovers for the ACC tourney and the NCAA.

I don't follow the lacrosse team much any more. They are the kings of choking. How they haven't won a national title by now is beyond me.

That ACC semifinal is a tough one for me...Both ND/Duke have prominent players from my high school alma mater. Whoever wins will have my full support for the title game.

Being that the ND player is offensive, while the Duke players contribute mostly to the Blue Devil "D", a perfect scenario would be for the attackman to score the only six goals of the game for the Irish, meaning both sides will have sufficiently performed their jobs well
