The week for Notre Dame men's basketball to show if it has any significant fight left in the 2024-25 season starts tonight. The Irish (11-13, 5-8) will host Louisville (19-6, 12-2 ACC) tonight before hosting SMU (19-6, 10-4) on Wednesday and Pittsburgh (15-10, 6-8) on Saturday.

Three games in seven days against teams higher than Notre Dame in the ACC standings won't be an easy stretch, but the Irish don't have to leave South Bend.

Louisville is coming into Purcell Pavilion on a three-game winning streak with comfortable victories over Boston College (84-58), Miami (88-78) and NC State (91-66). Only the Miami win came at home.

Louisville loves to shoot 3-pointers. The Cardinals entered Sunday ranked No. 7 in Division I in 3-point attempts per game with 30.2. Their 3-point percentage is only 32.8, which ranks No. 242, but they're still making 9.9 per game, which is 28th in the country.

Louisville top three scorers have each attempted at least 129 3-pointers this season. Senior guard Chucky Hepburn (6-foot-2) is averaging 15.0 points per game while shooting 34.1% from 3. Wing Terrence Edwards Jr. (6-6) is scoring 14.9 points per game while shooting 32.1% from 3. Senior guard Reyne Smith (6-2) is scoring 14.4 points per game while shooting 40% from 3.

Hepburn leads the Cardinals with 6.2 assists per game, which is 15th-best in the country. Hepburn also ranks 15th in steals per game with 2.33.
