Notre Dame men's basketball returns to the court at 7 p.m. EST to host Buffalo (2-0) in Purcell Pavilion.
Notre Dame (1-0) won its season opener Wednesday against Stonehill, 89-60. Sophomore guards Markus Burton and Braeden Shrewsberry both scored 18 points in the win. Junior forward Kebba Njie grabbed 10 rebounds and scored nine points.
Buffalo beat Old Dominion with a late 3-pointer for an 83-82 win to open its season last Monday on the road. It then beat Fredonia 87-78 on Friday.
Notre Dame's starting five should remain the same: guards Burton, Shrewsberry and Matt Allocco and forwards Tae Davis and Njie.
