The good news for Notre Dame men's basketball is it has a chance to end its three-game losing streak against an ACC team it already beat earlier this season.
The bad news is the Irish (10-13, 4-8 ACC) will have to do it on the road and late at night Wednesday against Boston College (10-13, 2-10).
Notre Dame defeated Boston College with ease on Jan. 13 in South Bend. Tae Davis scored 26 points, and Markus Burton added 20 points in a 78-60 victory over the Eagles. But Notre Dame hasn't been able to overcome beatable teams in its three-game losing streak. The Irish lost on the road at Miami and Florida State and at home against Virginia Tech. Those three teams have combined for 13 conference wins this season.
The Irish are 1-6 in conference road games this season.
Boston College is led by sophomore guard Donald Hand Jr. The 6-foot-5 Hand is BC's leading scorer (16.2 points per game) and leading rebounder (6.6 per game). Grad senior center Chad Venning (6-9) is averaging 12.7 points per game.
