Maye

Maye he go to the highest bidder! (college football should be officially pronounced DEAD! stick a fork in it!)

This one, if true, is not so good for college football. Sure he might miss Downs next year but that is not a good reason to leave.

This really devalues recruiting class rankings and recruiting high school players. Where someone commits out of HS is becoming just a starting point.

Also takes a lot of the fun out of college football. Heck, the NFL has more roster stability now.

I don't understand how all this transferring makes CFB unfun. There doesn't seem to be any connection there. What's 'fun' about players not transferring, and just being tied to the program they first committed to?

I think you guys are just not used to it. And you should try to get used to it, and embrace it. Because it's not that earth-shattering, not that overwhelming to have to adjust to. If anything I think it would add a bunch of excitement, and quite frankly would be quite fun, as far as that part of the sport goes....

just drop the charade and institute’ a draft; Give each school 4 territorial 1st picks, like they used to doin hockey!

Hey, I wanted Sam Hartman. I didn't even know Drake Maye was an option! And now that I do I still want Sam Hartman....

I did forget one thing though, SH is staying and playing in the bowl game, which of course he would. And if he's going to grad-transfer it would have to be after that date. He of course had an illustrious, great career at Wake Forest, and of course he's going to play in the bowl game his senior year. And then probably just go to the NFL from there, or at least give it a shot.

Or maybe we could circle back, if we don't the great Hudson Card....

I wouldnt take Hartman. I think he is a system qb and he should stay at wake or enter the draft

What is a system QB? People told me for years that Brady was a system QB. I told them he was the system. How’s that system fared since he left New England? They probably couldn’t even tell you the name of the system

I think this transferring makes college football too much like the NFL but with players on one year contracts. No real school or team loyalty.

I no longer have a favorite NFL team and rarely watch it. It will be a sad day if CF, especially D-1, becomes the same.

But what does that have to do with fun, though? Not much. That's more of it offends your moral values shit. The idea that CFB is 'fun', as a spectator sport, not because of the fun of recruiting, and watching the games, and all the rest of it.... But really the main thing is moral values? And I mean your moral values, it doesn't bother my moral values. Sports is about playing sports, not about displaying loyalty. Quite frankly, sir, WTF are you even talking about? This isn't warfare and gallantry. This isn't the Three Musketeers. It's a football game....

So you gotta get over that. All of these changes were made because of how immoral/illegal the old system was anyway. And so the ball's in your court as a fan. You can either get over yourself, or maybe you will stop watching. And if so it will be your loss....
