Matthias Farley would be labeled a utility player if he played baseball. However, it was nice to see Coach Kelly recognize Notre Dames utility man by naming Matthias Farley as one of the team captains. I cannot recall a Notre Dame football team, with so many leaders as the five captains named yesterday. Mathis Farley stands out to me as the definition of an unselfish and team player. I could not be happier for a guy who represents Notre Dame so well. I would love to see this kid as a future coach or recruiting coordinator one day!
