Here are tonight's Lucky Charms...

*** Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy class of 2023 defensive athlete Samuel M'Pemba tweeted the following today: "Commitment coming soon... Stay tuned." The most M'Pemba has narrowed his list down to is 12: Miami, Georgia, Missouri, Michigan, Florida, Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M, Florida State, Penn State, Notre Dame and Ohio State. In talking with sources, there's plenty of uncertainty about who M'Pemba will commit to and what exactly his timeline of committing "soon" is. Notre Dame sources feel that ND is one of the two or three schools the impressive vyper/rover target will decide between.

*** Rivals.com's Clint Cosgrove had an update today on Merrillville (Ind.) Andrean class of 2023 linebacker Drayk Bowen, who spoke briefly on his Notre Dame visit this past weekend and went in-depth on what he likes about his three finalists: Auburn, Clemson and Notre Dame. Click here to read the full update.

*** On Notre Dame: "The academics there. You can't really find anywhere else with that type of sport competition to go with the academics. ACC, Independent for baseball and football, while getting an Ivy level degree. That's something that has really always been appealing to me. All three kind of have a small campus, which I really do like. I have a great relationship with coach (Marcus) Freeman, coach (Chad) Bowden, and the baseball staff. That has always kind of been a big thing for me, how baseball would treat me, and how they would recruit me."

I checked with sources today on Bowen and nothing new to report. Blue & Gold still feels good that Bowen chooses Notre Dame but it's not a lock.

*** Notre Dame will host Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Cardinal Gibbons class of 2023 quarterback Dylan Rizk this weekend when North Carolina comes to town, the 6-0, 186-pounder told Rivals.com's Ryan Wright this week. App. State, Indiana, Kentucky, Troy and UCF have offered the three-star quarterback. Rizk tells me that he's had pretty good contact with Irish offensive coordinator Tommy Rees recently.
