LSU 2pt conversion

That is pretty interesting. I must say, Kelly showed some stones going for the win with the 2-point conversion.

I don't recall a penalty called against ND that incensed me as much as the call in the 2014 FSU game. If I had been wearing a blood pressure cuff, it might have burst. That could--and should--have been a signature win for BK.

Yeah, that was bullshit. Was that the exact same play, I guess so. Cory Robinson didn't have to lunge into the end zone in the same way. And for LSU it was TE who was in motion on the play and CR wasn't. So not the exact same play....

I just remember old boy was way too unsubtle in his blocking on that play. All he had to do was be a little more stealth about it, and we beat FSU. And the rest of that season collapsed following that loss. That was one of BK's 'lost years' at ND, after making MNCG in year three. Sigh....

Wasn’t that also the game that right after that play the FSU player took off his helmet right in front of a ref but wasn’t flagged?
Correct,

and it wasn’t the same play, similar, but not congruent

I was assuming he would. Alabama is still a better team and the longer the OT we t, the better chance it wins, so ending the game on one play was the right call.

And that damn call vs. FSU…utter bullshit.

If Will Fuller even remotely tries to run a pass route, that call does not get made (he runs directly into the defender) -- also, what is not talked about -- the inner slot back (Hunter I believe) is totally mauled as he is coming off the snap
