Paradoxically Paul Horning and Sonny Jurgenson were two of Vince Lombardi’s all time favorite players. One would think that both guys cut against the grain with Lombardi. However when asked about Paul Horning during Green Bay’s halcyon days under Lombardi. He replied

“When the game gets tougher so does he”!
