Lou Holtz

Proof hard work takes you too your dreams, and beyond.
I'll keep the politics out of it
I love seeing and hearing Lou with his inspirational stories. Master motivator, which played a big role in winning more than his share of big games.

DIP, the level of flooding in Jacksonville was incredible, and hope you mom's place was spared damage. Hate to think your son lost everything only to be followed a week later by your mom experiencing loss. Please have some good news to share. Sorry if this is repetitive, but haven't seen anything beyond you and your wife getting your mom out safely.

Its his faith in God that separates him from everyone else.

Lou Holtz has drawn a lot of inspiration from his life long friend and mentor Bobby Bowden. About Bowden, Holtz said, "There's nobody in this world I respect more than Bobby Bowden."

Bowden is a pig!

Too bad that Holt's made a poor judgement on that POS.

And only 14 posts..........hummmm...........everybody here knows what's going on and who this is, especially those of us that have been around this message board for years! No mystery here. And this time choosing "Bearcats" as a handle........LOL! (And the spelling of "Holt's"......bwahahahahah)

Lou is a creation of his Generation and the the generation of his parents ! The three things that shaped those Generations were faith in God, a code of morality, and personal responsibility for ones oun successes or failures !.
Lou is definately delivering that message, and, hopefully, motivating those who hear that message ?
God Bless, Lou !

My favorite Lou H. story; if I can remember it properly: Lou suspended 3 important Irish starters just before the big game at SC in 88. A side line reporter asked him, just before the start of the game, if he had any regrets suspending the players. Lou responded: "What ya mean? I didn't suspend anybody. They suspended themselves, I just implemented the penalty they knew would result."

That was Lou ! He then won that game without those players. I think two of them were Ricky Waters and one of the Boooks brothers !

Thanks Telx1
My mom's place was flooded, a complete lose. Just an undeliverable string of events.
. She'll be staying with us for a little while but, she has my father's ashes so it's all good.

I don't want to take away from the subject thread it's a good one My mom is a huge ND fan Irish Gradur and she got a kick out of the video. Thanks for putting a smile on her face.

Again thanks Telx1 for the concerns.

Yes, it was one of the Brooks brothers, Mel or Albert...or wait...it was Tony.
