Pathetic that people are so consumed with the goings on of one Jim Harbaugh.

I'm worried about BK and staff and could give a shit less Wtf Harbaugh is doing.

coach Kelly has had top coaches on campus during the spring time to talk at the coaches clinics and so this doesn't mean a thing to me even though I hate Michigan with a passion

Lou who? If he goes over to the dark dide he ceases to exist.
Are you an idiot? (nevermind, after reading your posts I have a pretty good idea that you are) Do you think ol' Lou is coming down to sing UM's praises? He'll talk about the glory of cfb or some such and keep to generalities - he won't be a Wolverine convert in any way, shape or form.

Rest assured he'll continue to have you guys in the nc every season until he has gone over to the great beyond.

you cannot mix light and darkness; don't care what Lou does. He chose his lot now. Granted his mind is not as sound as it once was and has contributed to his attendance today.

My sources are telling me Jim wants to class up the joint, so he is bring in Coach Lou for some help. Lou can't say no to some one who tells him, "I'm a screw up (much like Bug man) and I need help changing my image of being a asshole. I don't want to be a Wal-Mart Wolverine."

Holtz sold out about the time ESPN turned him into a cartoon character. I love Lou Holtz and thought he did an excellent job the few times I saw him at a speaking engagement. But it's pretty clear he'll do anything for a buck these days.

Why no mention of Lou's home burning to the ground or his wife battling through cancer? Those events far surpass anything on the field or for the love of one's college. Nice to see Lou got JH his first coaching job, too.

This just happened. Holtz at UM's Signing of the Stars on Harbaugh: "I'm just glad I'm not at Notre Dame when he's at Michigan." Hahahaha. Can't make this stuff up boys. You tell 'em Lou!

Holtz knows what';s going on.....but people here want to celebrate kelly's grand success over d2 schools no one has ever heard of while cluelessly trying to denigrate Harbaugh's football background....

"And that got them in a discussion about Wednesday's event, which will benefit the ChadTough Foundation -- named for the late Chad Carr -- which raises money to fight pediatric cancer."

"At the same time he called me to tell me how everything went, he asked me if I would come up and do this thing," Holtz said. "It’s going to be, I don’t know, 3,500 people, etc., to raise money for cancer. My wife is a Stage 4 cancer survivor. They gave her a 10% chance to live. She had three (tumors) on the throat, a 13-hour surgery, 83 radiation treatments, her weight went from 129 to 89 pounds, so we do everything we can to help fight cancer. So those are the reasons I’ve been there. I have tremendous respect for Jim. But what he did for that 12-year-old who went above and beyond the call of duty when our house burnt down, that’s why I’m going to be there."

hard to take the opinions of a person who has little or no knowledge of football on a football related message board seriously. keep trying though.

Well, I'm just curious whom these people see as a REALISTIC alternative to Kelly who would be an improvement. Suggesting/implying Harbaugh or Shaw is patently foolish---those guys are not leaving their alma maters to come to ND. When you ask for alternatives, you either get crazy talk (Saban, Meyer, etc...) or crickets. As I've said before, when it comes to Kelly, there's a difference between being critical and being irrational.

alternative?

well, consider this if you say you cannot do better on the field or in the office then you have just given up!

have you given up?

Based upon Swarbrick actions, I do think there has been a certain accepting the idea that ND is not going to go the route that is required to be a nationally championship level contender.
And if that is the case then ND needs to look at the lesser conferences for affiliation. That affiliation should be with teams having a similar pisition regarding it's academics and football programs.

Holtz has been loyal to ND to a fault after they kicked him to the curb. He brought back the program and was treated like shit.

Cgvr, do you think anyone on this message board takes you seriously? It's clear to me that you want others here to think that you are important, or something along that line. If Coach Kelly bothers you this much why not go and root for another school. I'm sure there is plenty of room for you at OSU or Michigan. It think we all get it you have issues with Kelly and ND. How ever sad I think you are, that is your choice. Hope you and Bugnut can find happiness.

Yeah, an anonymous message board is really where I care what people think about me.

Yep, as an alum I'll go root for another school. That makes sense....

There were plenty of lifelong Yankee fans that couldn't stand Billy Martin....yeah, they should have cheered for another squad.....

My criticisms of kelly are spot on and supported by performance numbers. He stinks.

There are plenty of graduates like me that can't stand the man...rightfully so... he's disgusting and stupid.

Quite frankly, kelly's 2 decades in the pee wees is emblematic of who he is...

Did you notice who set a recruiting record today?

some basic football knowledge would really give your posts some substance and credibility. i'm here to help. if you had that you wouldn't resort to childish, grade school name calling and personal insults. it's the only weapon of the clearly uninformed.

"resort to childish, grade school name calling and personal insults."

Here's the king of childish name calling...below... In addition, I've added some "playground bullying". He's a stupid vulagr underachieving jackass.

i rest my case. classic behavior by the uninformed. not capable of substance so sink to the lowest level they can.

Your case is duplicitous. Nothing written here rises to the ongoing embarrassing, childish and boorish actions of our head coach.

kelly's an ongoing underachieving vulgar disgrace.

Keep patting yourself on the back. It's very funny.

Why some posters think regurgitating the same crap post after post is all of a sudden going to make this board become convinced they are right is beyond me. It must be some weird satisfaction to cut and paste the same posts over and over. I don't get it since it's not going to convince anyone but it does look to be a little obsessive. The people on this board who like Coach Kelly are going to like him whether the same tired words are posted over and over or not.......but hey it's whatever path you choose.

wrong again. Hate to ruin your narrative with facts but Lou's appearance and repeated praise of Harbaugh + UM were free of charge. Delta paid for his flight, that's it. Sorry.

Chris Balas‏@Balas_Wolverine
Per Doug Karsch ... Not one celebrity was paid to attend signing of the stars. Delta ... A sponsor ... Flew them in.

I heard the same... Thanks for the clarity on the airfare.

I'm wondering if Lou had a sleepover at Harbaugh's.....

Just an observation after reading through this thread and watching cgvr, the village idiot, get trashed and abused for his lies and taunts, but it seems clear that everything this idiot posts is clearly embarrassing, childish and boorish!

What a fool!

Make sure you create another handle to agree with yourself. My posts are irrefutable.

About the only thing here that is irrefutable is that you are garbage and hate Notre Dame!
