the once proud ND University can rise again. Or have they fallen like the great empire of Rome burning into oblivion,never to rise again? There are no more Rockne's,Parsegian's or Leahy's to steer our course. Has the glorious hope for the return to national football dominance been negated by the incompetence of the AD and powers that be? A wise man[ND 35] once proclaimed the love of all things ND and taught us to never give up hope. While I struggle to remain optimistic, the dark side keeps pulling at me with its' deadly talons. Has BK become our Captain Ahab ? In his pursuit of stubbornness and arrogance has he destroyed the once mighty ship? We can only hope that the powers that be make the NECESSARY CHANGES ,so that NOTRE DAME can release all the last 20 plus years of frustration on the college football world. I hope that this will not be my last GO IRISH. I long for the return to HERE COME THE IRISH to mean pride and dedication once again. Peace out !

This one here by you is a good one as well. I have the same sentiments that you state.
ND 35 was always a tremendous diplomat for ND on this free board. I read every article he would type and eagerly await the next one. A true ND statesman.
