Like I said IU is not one of ND's toughest opponents, maybe 5th or 6th

Golson, SC is a better team, like I said.
Not a chance. They played well. Much better team than SC

Defense was good. Really good solid team we beat today no doubt.

I was there. They can play. Much better team than SC

Has been all year

You are hilarious!!! You will never in your life admit that you were wrong. SC came close to beating ND. There was never a time vs IU that the game was in danger. You wanna say the IU defense played "really good", well the SC offense scored at will vs ND. The IU offense has been a fraud all season.

To say IU is much better than SC is coming from someone that cannot admit they were wrong. SC since the QB change would beat IU.

A defense that gave up 400 total yards should not be considered "really good".

I'd put IU about the fourth best team we played. Not as good as A&M and USC for sure and a little behind Louisville.

11 and 1 to 6 and 6 in the same conference and 5 common opps. There's no debate. It's an argument you cannot win. 11 to 6. Are you Chase? Do you think this is F+? That wouldn't even work though as the metrics had Indiana ahead of SC too. We saw the games they played with the new QB and Indiana outperformed them against 2 common opponents by a wide margin. You have nothing at all besides your opinion to base your ridiculous claim on.

PUT USC in that environment last night we beat them by 3 scores at least. They get destroyed in that cold

USC was at Home against us. Indiana was on the Road in a night game. Best ND environment I've ever been to.

We played SC as our 4th game in a row after playing Army in New York and traveled across the country. We had 3 weeks off with zero travel against Indiana

No Cross vs SC. Cross against Indiana.

Indiana has a really good D. Outside of 1 run we could not run on them. I've been saying that their Defense is much better than their offense and I was right.

We beat a good team last night

1. 6-6 vs 11-1. I would agree if SC did not change anything. They have a new QB, that is the difference. They would beat IU with the new QB.

2. Environment? Really? You wanna use that excuse??? They only had 3 points points for 90% of the game because of environment? No, they only had 3 points because they had a garbage schedule and were proven to be pretenders that did not belong in the playoffs.

3. SC destroyed the ND secondary and that had nothing to do with playing Army and travel time. Come on man, you are better than that. The QB killed ND period. Unlike the IU QB last night.

4. No Cross vs SC. Ok, so cross would have kept SC to 450 yards instead of 550. Come on man, SC had almost 600 total yards on ND. IU was under 200 for 90% of the game.

5. A really good defense? Nope, the game was never close. The game was never in doubt. Watching college game day as we speak. Kirk and Nick are both saying IU did not belong on that field. The are even questioning the SOS of IU. Once Spindler went out the run game struggled, to use your player excuses.

We saw him play against Nebraska and UCLA. Indiana played much better against both

Even there you don't have an argument. And he's not Caleb Williams. He had a big game against us throwing jump balls against a tired team that didn't have Cross to help rush the passer.

You have no argument any angle

See my last post. I give you a 5 point breakdown

I already destroyed all your arguments in my previous post. And you made bad points in that 5 point nonsense

You have no argument. 11 and 1 vs 6 and 6 in the same conference and the 11 win team was much better in the 5 common opps

And if you consider the qb switch the 11 win team was still much better in the 2 common opps.

You have nothing. Just your opinion. No facts. No data. Just feelings

Indiana is better than SC because?? Their record??? Their common opponent?

I have nothing? Lets compare opponents. IU scored 3 points for 90% of the game. IU had less than 200 yards for 90% of the game. When ND stopped trying, IU scored garbage points.

SC had 35 points and 557 yards.

One question
Who played better overall vs ND, IU OR SC?

One game is not as important as an entire season.

Indiana was, on average, better than USC this year. Just as ND was, on average, better than NIU this season.

SC after the QB switch is a different team.

I have to agree with Golson on this. I was at the game as well. USC has more talent than IU, but IU is a much more disciplined and well coached team than USC.
Talent wise SC is far superior to IU, but IU is getting coached up which makes them a better team.

Yeah, they were definitely one of the top teams we played. They just definitely were. CFB fans cannot control their testosterone levels. They absolutely cannot do it.

They barely beat UCLA and were okay against Nebraska

Indiana destroyed Nebraska and whopped up on UCLA

You have nothing just your feelings
Again I will ask, who was the tougher opponent for ND
SC or IU?

That was my original post.

I said ND has played 5-6 tougher teams.

It's hard to imagine us beating Alabama that easily. But you have to win your games, and Alabama lost 3. USC was fired up and at home in a rivalry game. I think Indiana would beat USC. But we beat them both; so next game.
