Leonard The Legend - Just imagine!!!!

The Penn State win was much more than just phenomenal!!! It was Destiny - I understand that no one other than us truly believed that we belonged, especially the refs. I had to add that part. Then the turning point arrived - Steve Angeli entered the game. I can only say thank you Steve. We have to give him his flowers - well deserved.

The second half arrived - Riley re-entered the game that ended up being an instant classic. I mentioned in a previous post that that last time that we won the national title was with a running quarterback by the name of Tony Rice - Nation: take a moment to celebrate and appreciate this young man by the name of Riley Leonard who indeed chose hard as coach Freeman would say. This journey for him has been bumpy to say the least, but he will be labeled as "Leonard The Legend!" National Champions!!!! Go Irish!!!!!

Speaking of refs.
There’s a thread about the refs on the paid board about the same crew vs Georgia kept sporting the ball short on us. Did anyone else notice this ?

The officiating was awfully subpar for a game this big. They missed a lot and they called a lot of phantom penalties. Hopefully it will be better in the final game. Both teams deserve it!

I don’t think this was the case but I didn’t look super close while reviewing. Evans was short-changed a yard at the end of the first half but I think it was understandable from the ref’s perspective and it was a first down regardless of spot.

That was a nice play from Evans and he had a good game. He and ND might not have been rewarded a clock stoppage had he not continued to fight. ND’s players have been fighting hard whenever they get the ball in their hands.
