Moore leads the team in pass break ups with 10, intercepted two passes, recovered two fumbles, and tallied 43 tackles. Pro football focus grades Moore as ND's top defender with a grade of 88.9 only six FBS defensive backs have a higher grade for the most part teams shy away from him and pick on Christian Gray. Morrison and Moore next year could be two of the best DB's in FBS

Really could of made AA, not sure uf he had enough games to qualify but he has been unreal. Monday is the biggest test of the season with Smith and Emeka.

It's pretty remarkable, and I guess Mike Mickens is becoming a name to be reckoned with among DB coaches. And MF and Golden too. I wonder who in the incoming recruiting class is going to continue the tradition as ND's future NFL CB, right off the bat. We're becoming DB U!

I just hope Mickens doesn't go anywhere. Also Washington deserves some credit for the defensive lineman just stepping up and holding it down no matter who's in the game. I was a person who felt his lineman were producing enough for him to remain on the staff.

Lots of chatter here in my neck of the woods about Al Golden returning to the Bengals. Not sure if any of it has any legs. That said if it were to happen Mickens likely in line to be DC if that's something he would want.

My prediction for top DB out of this class, is going to Jerome Bettis Jr. And he's going to be another Xavier Watts. I don't know how similar they are as players per se. But he reminds of Watts in that he looks okay at WR for sure, but he just looks like a natural on defense. Athletic and physical and confident and intense. He really stood out to me checking out some of their highlights.

And as far as like, sons of former NFL players, which ND seems to have a fair amount of, and not always former ND standouts, I think Burress looks pretty good at WR. I was pretty impressed.
