covering SEC Media days. They are breaking down various fronts and strengths and weaknesses of each team based on scheme and/or personnel. They are excellent. Many of those things have been discussed on this board since Coach D has joined, but to hear it from 2 of the best college DL in recent years talking about it while showing video of what they are talking about is really excellent. For how good Alabama's defense is, their weakness in their front is not having a great edge rusher. Imagine that. They also mentioned to go against Spread Offenses, you MUST have great man cover guys at CB, and that you cannot have packages, which is a pro thing and that Saban has had a tough time adjusting to this. Also mentioned was how Saban invited Tom Herman to come down to explain how OSU schemed against Bama last year. Herman is now with the Houston Texans, so there was no conflict of interest. Just lots of good things said, very informative. Oh, get this, Bama snapped the ball on average only 1.5 seconds less than Auburn. Also said Bama will be going back to 2 TE's as their base offense. Last year they had such a good fullback, that they often used him instead of a 2nd TE, but that since he is gone, they will go back to the 2 TE, 2 WR, 1 RB set.
