So I was up 3:30 this morning, put on the TV and Real Sports had a piece about former ND player Konrad Reuland who tragically passed away from a brain aneurysm. His parents felt it was important to donate Konrad's organs and HOF Rod Carew who required a heart transplant, was a recipient.
Konrad's parents have become close to Carew, who wore #29. Konrad passed away at 29.
