Let me preface this by saying that I think this team is going to 11-1 this upcoming season as long as Zaire stays healthy and the rest of the team has reasonable health. I also still love BVG's defensive scheme and think the defense will take a very large leap forward this season especially at the safety position.
With that said, if everything breaks wrong yet again (injuries, suspensions, etc) and this team is 7-5 or 8-4, is there really any chance he would actually be fired after the season? Or would 2016 be like Weis' make or break season in 2009? I would think Kelly would still get 2016, but he would be on the hot seat. Swarbrick isn't a guy who makes rash decisions, but I do wonder what his threshold is on 7 or 8 win seasons.
