Just for giggles. Kelly is in his 7th year, Harbaugh his 2nd.

In the last 4 games Michigan has outscored opponents 182 - 25 (Penn St, Wisc, Rutgers, Illinois).

Here are the best 4 game stretches in 7years with Kelly leading the troops:
2010: 108 - 39 (Utah, Army, USC, Miami)
2014: 140 - 46 (Rice, Michigan, Purdue, Syracuse)
2015: 164 - 79 (Texas, Virginia, Georgia Tech, Umass)

What exactly does Swarbrick see happening next year?

Jeter says he is now going to Michigan: http://www.post-gazette.com/sports/...cides-to-attend-Michigan/stories/201610230241

“He doesn’t act like he’s important. He doesn’t act like he’s one of the best coaches in the country,” said Jeter. “He’s real down to earth and humble. He’s easy to talk to. Talking to Brian Kelly wasn’t fun. It wasn’t cool. You have to make an appointment just to go to his office. Coach Harbaugh has an open-door policy. Every one of Michigan’s coaches has an open-door policy.”

we have a poster here, he has about 100+ ID signons and he would really give you a come upance; except he seems to have gone missing now? You know with the coaching going fubar. He speaks with hard language, you would be pee peeing in your pants; cause he is not afraid to use any vulgarity or bad boy phrase! And he does it on 'high authority' so you better be , in words of E Fudd, 'verwy verwy afraid'!

I like Harbaugh's style of play better. Old fashioned I-formation with a FB, pound the rock, play action passing. That still works in CFB. He made it work at Stanford, too. Also, his teams always play excellent defense.

yep! like tOSU, UM brings in a top head coach and those inept players some fans want to blame suddenly transform into a winning squad! huh?

If BK is the ND head coach when ND meets UM, then 31-0 might be a halftime score.
JMO, but we might be headin for a new low.

Rome fell. ND fell. And now with Hillary, the USA will fall too. It is about staying the course with no co,place cry, discipline, effort, doing the hard things and being accountable

Tell Michigan to play an away game. Them fools never have to travel, change their routine, etc. Just saying. Lol

funny how Michigan fans who are invading our board in waves right now forget that just a couple of years ago there football program was in the dumpster

cool9

yep! and that is exactly the point.

you saw what Harbaugh did to Rutgers? well that is nothing compared to what he would want to do to ND!
And if ND does not get it's football 'on track' it is what will happen. And then, the UM fans will show no mercy neither.

If you want to bet that the USA is going to fall in the next four years, I will take that action.

Brah, you might 'post like a champion', but I'm a 'Fightin' Irish Fanatic'.

I supported Kelly ardently until after NC State. Stanford simply confirmed my decision to jump ship. Cut bait now behind closed doors, do so publicly after the season. That's what we should do. We won't, but we should.

If Kelly was recruiting better along the Front 7, or showing better development in this area, I would be more supportive of another year. I just don't see a top 5 program right now.

If he turns it around I'll be back on the ship. Not sure when, or how, that will happen.

Harbaugh will win some games in the weak Big 10, lose one or two games which will prevent UM from winning any kind of championship then win a bowl game. Then the ND fans who are Michigan lovers will claim how great of a coach Harbaugh is. Sickening if you ask me how some so-called ND fans get a hard-on for a Michigan head coach. We call those fans fair weather fans!

Was Pete Carroll a great coach at USC? Is Saban a great coach? Has Dabo Swinney impressed?

I don't think admitting that water is wet is being a fair weather fan.

Thank God you guys would never stoop to such a thing.
Oh wait. You did.

Michigan fans posting in thread about their coach? Holy shit! The nerve!

Glad that you wasted your time compiling that stat. It is meaningless, and tells very little about who is better equipped to be the ND coach.

I sure in the hades didn't! Doubt if many here did either. Two thoughts just months ago the Michigan freeboard was blowing dust bunnies not many daily posts at all even by Michigan fans. The two Irish posters that rankled the Wolvie faithful in recent seasons post on the Roundtable (and yes, that means Decker, he posted here for awhile and went back to the safety of the premium board).

This is the way I look at rivals interjecting their thoughts while visiting here if you use your manners, you'll be fine, post insults or smack and eventually you'll find yourself languishing in the cornfield.

.....mods here are slow on the trigger but go ahead and make our day by testing them. :D

I bet you are as fat and even dumber than your posts. Back to the basement and perhaps tomorrow you can get a free bowl of soup after collecting the trash. Chris Christie is a loser too.

You really need to find a decent job, if that is possible with your very poor education. It is obvious that you have a terrible source of income and are financially very insecure.

Thank you for your input member 10966. You are correct, everything is meaningless. I am a fan of Ecclesiastes also.

Irish fans who either love or hate Jim Harbaugh have one thing in common...we all have an opinion about Brian Kelly. Michigan recognized that the football program needed new leadership in order to advance upward. Notre Dame has not yet reached that conclusion.

in fairness, he was visiting on game day! and There may have been little time to socialize!
but, that is not the 1st time we have heard that there is no open door policy to Kelly. As fot the position coaches, no idea, here.
But, watching the public Kelly, would not give the impression that he has an open door policy nor does he project a warm n fuzzy demeaner.

No, he's not exactly Mr. Warm and Fuzzy. But neither is Nick Saban.

Must admit that's funny that Harbaugh picked up the recruits at midnight in the van though. That guy's insane.

He's creative and fun - recruits like creative / fun - etc. Shoot most people do - why wouldn't an 18 year kid.
