Kelly Lovers Are Not True ND Fans

Care more about Kelly than the football program. They can't see what every other KNOWLEDGEABLE fan can see...That Kelly is a below average coach who has proven over 6 seasons he cannot get this program over the hump. The same bad play calling year after year. Same offensive delay of game penalties and TO's. Same lame, confused defense. Recruiting is horrible. Highly rated recruits leave because they can't stand him. Poor strength and conditioning because everyone gets hurt. Same tight struggles and losses to inferior opponents.

His best team ever!! He said it. This team is a mess and it's his best team ever!!! Another 8 win season with "HIS BEST TEAM EVER". Instead of accusing the realists (who use historical facts to reach their conclusions) that they are not fans and know nothing about football, maybe you "so called fans who would hit you knees in Kelly's presence" should leave the board because you're loyalty is to a coach and not the football team.

Go wear your rose-colored glasses somewhere else and leave the board to fans who demand excellence and remember when this team was respected as a national powerhouse annually.

You are the same fools who worshipped Weis until he was sent packing. Of course you won't admit that. Your short term memories and hypocrisy is laughable. That is not a defense for keeping a bad coach. Maybe a coach who can add and not go for 2 like Kelly did against NW. Maybe a coach who does not throw an interception in the EZ against Tulsa instead of Kicking the FG. Maybe a coach who does not bring in a cold Crist for QB sneak. Maybe a coach who can keep his players on the field. Maybe a coach who does not lose to Navy, USF, Tulsa, etc. Maybe a coach who does not embarrass the institution with his sideline antics. Maybe a coach who can win more than 8 games. Maybe a coach who does not throw his players under the bus. Maybe a coach who does not divide the locker room between his guys and those he did not recruit (He has his guys now and for the last few seasons...how has that worked out), Maybe a coach who can keep his players from cheating. Maybe a coach who can keep his players academically eligible. Maybe a coach who does not run off players. Maybe a coach who can recruit better than 3 stars. Maybe a coach who does not interview for the NFL leaving his team unprepared for the NC game. Maybe a coach who does not send a student up in a lift during extremely dangerous conditions leading to the poor kids death...then blaming others. Maybe a coach who does not Blame his Kicker for every loss. Maybe a coach who does not destroy his QB's self confidence, thus preventing the kid from running it is for the winning score against FSU instead of sliding down at the 3. Maybe a coach who can recruit a DL. Maybe a coach who has a concept of defense. Maybe a coach who can delegate the play calling when he has no clue. Maybe a coach who does not bring in a freshman RB on a crucial 4 and 1 instead of having Procise run the ball. Maybe a coach who can stop himself from slinging the ball all over the field when his RB has 9 carries for 113 yards. Maybe a coach who runs the ball more with that same RB who has 9 carries for 113 yards. Maybe a coach who does not push his luck after lucking out on a fake FG and does not go for 2.
