Don't see it happening. John Mara along with younger brother Chris will never give full control to one man. Kelly's name will always be connected to Giant's job because he's ND coach and Irish have big following in this area so it makes for a good story. As a Giant fan am sad to see Coughlin go. First class all the way.

I like Kelly but NFL coaches who are successful in the long run and all about Defense (Bellichick, Parcells, Coughlin, Harbaugh, Ditka, etc.) And that is not Kelly (as we've seen.)

I do think he has the managerial skills for the job.
