Kareem Commits

Great pick up. Keith Gilmore has a history with bringing in good defensive lineman recruits and getting the most out of them. His name isnt mentioned much here, but he is an underated talent. The defense is often picked on for being too complex, but that transition eases the longer the system is in place. If we keep this defensive coaching unit together for a few years both the defenseive play and the recruiting could be something special.

Dominoes anyone?

It is a solid commit but I really hope we can land Betiku and Hayes as well. Betiku is legit and will be a beast wherever he plays and I think Jaylon will leave for the NFL after this year and we need a stud like Hayes to fill his spot. We have been blessed the past few cycles with 5 star LB's Manti and Jaylon so it would be great to see Hayes continue the roll. If we land all three plus 1 more DB, we are looking at a top defense if they all play to their potential. We already have solid players inside on d-line with Tillery (still learning but you can see his upside) and I love Cage. The line backing core is very good but would be great if Nyles could play like everyone thought when he was recruited, and if you add Hayes (if we can get him) that would be a fierce front 7!

We will still have problems in our secondary since all our new recruits will be learning but it is great to see us getting kids at those positions. Again we have Max, like Nyles, who can make a huge difference if can play to his recruiting potential and a couple other guys who are decent enough to help since we will lose Russell after the season, maybe we get another graduate transfer if we are lucky. That being said though, if we have an actual pass rush with just 4 or 5 guys then it will greatly help our secondary.

Lots of time left and of course I think many recruits will wait for signing day to milk everything. Let's just hope they pick the ND hat when choosing!!!

As a Michigan kid, get talking to Hayes ASAP! Great news, but like someone said, Betiku is the ultimate prize in this class. will be an immediate impact player.

now we just need to get the 5 star DE from southern California that just backed out of UCLA and then we'll have our two bookends for the next few years. really nice to take a top 15 rated DE from Michigan's own back yard

to be brutally frank I usually ignore commits this early since 17-18 year old kids are prone to change their minds. However early enrollment is another story.

Looks like ND offense will be very good even with the loss of Stanley and Martin on the line. Fuller ,I'm not sure where he stands.

More worried about CJ leaving.
CJ is fantastic, but let's be honest - it's his first year playing running back.
He's NOT leaving for the draft.

Fuller needs another year to improve his route running and hands. Speed kills, but you
can't just run by people in the NFL, and hope to survive.

See Nick Chubb-----that's why guys leave early at the RB position.

Procise would certainly go in the 1st 3 RDs-----that's a lot of money.

The money there is for R1 picks, the R2/R3 money is not what it used to be. Also not sure that he is a top 3 round pick with only a year of film on him running. Maybe, depends on the class and the positional value RB has this year.

Even if that's true, if Fuller gets a first round grade, he's probably gone.
